Giving

But just as you excel in everything–in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us–see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”       2 Corinthians 8:7

Thank you for your support to GrandView Christian Church.  Because of your financial support and generosity, you have planted the seeds that will enable GVCC to grow in our community, and provide a church home for you and others.  Thank you for answering the call to contribute to God's work here at GVCC.

Online giving allows you to give whenever and wherever by simply using your bank debit card, credit card, or checking account. You will be able to give your weekly tithes, offerings, as well as donate to other designated accounts without the hassle of writing checks, paying for postage, etc., and you are still able to bring all of your tithes into the storehouse.

The Apostle Paul tells the church in Corinth,

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).

In the context of giving, it is clear to see that God gives "cheerfully" to us – shown by the blessed country and community we live in, the food we have to eat, the cars we drive, etc.  We even get to worship freely in a nice warm building and so many of us are never hungry or in desperate want.  Even the air we breathe, and the life we live is truly a gift from God.  As if all those things were not enough, God ups the joy of giving by sending his Son to give us the gift of Salvation. Truly, God is a "cheerful" giver.

Our hope is that you will model your finances after God and His example of giving "cheerfully."  We are a blessed people and our prayer is that through the joy of giving you will find yourself in the example of God; and He will bless you in ways you never understood.

"Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:38).
